Originally from Melbourne, and moving to Brisbane in 2002, Paul Martin's experience and strong interests include both counselling and organizational consulting. He was trained in the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York, and continues to supervise psychologists, social workers, counsellors and therapists who are being trained in this area. He actively develops young psychologists through providing workplace supervision and placements for Griffith and the University of Queensland.

Paul has extensive experience in both counseling and organizational psychology. His counseling experience includes working in private practice for over 15 years and has developed the business from an individual psychologist to where it is today.  He was a senior psychologist in Pentridge Prison in maximum security, rehabilitation counselor & case manager with Commomwealth Rehabilitation Service, careers guidance counselor at a university, and an (EAP) Employee Assistance Program psychologist for various companies. He was a board member for the Institute of Rational Emotive Therapy, has developed, co-ordinated & spoken at numerous conferences for a variety of groups including males who have been sexually assaulted, has spoken on radio, television & written many articles for magazines, and was the President of a Community Health Service.

His organizational experience includes being the Southern states leadership coach for Suncorp, developing and facilitating a management development program for Custodial & Community settings throughout the state for Queensland Corrective Services, working with Rod Anderson & Associates in a large change management program for Southern Health in Victoria, has worked with many individuals developing their leadership skills, was the Chairman of the International Business Interest Group with the Australian Institute of Management in Melbourne, assisted staff and management during the closure of a large paper mill, and worked closely with management assisting them dealing with staff issues during the closure of Ansett.
